Social Farming; Social Farming is an emerging means of connecting people through on from work
and growing. Come to hear more about this concept in practice from Eamonn Maher Callan, Ger
Keaton Castlecomer and SOS Kilkenny and Ward Smis –Jerpoint, Thomastown.

Community Allotments; Ferrybank Community Allotments grew out of the economic crash around
2010. Kevin McLawrence from the allotment project will share the story of what started as a
modest project to what it is now a highly organised far reaching community resource.
