We’re delighted to welcome Rory O’Connell to the Savour stage once again in 2022! Rory, a classically trained chef and co-founder of the famous Ballymaloe Cookery School, has worked in some of the top kitchens around the world and has delivered first-class culinary education to students worldwide since 1983.

He was twice awarded the prestigious title of Ireland’s Chef of the Year and has a number of cookbooks as well as the television series ‘How to Cook Well’ on RTÉ television.

These days he can be found back at Ballymaloe Cookery School where sustainability is one of the guiding principles in their commitment to producing as much of their ingredients on their organic farm as possible.  The newly-branded Tirlán are proud to sponsor Rory’s demonstration at Savour Kilkenny where he will cook with Avonmore dairy products!
