• 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • ½ cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 2 cups mixed raisins/dried cranberries
  • 1 ½ cups dry porridge oats
  • 2 cups crisped rice cereal
  • ¼ cup flaxseed
  • 1 cup good quality peanut butter
  • ¾ cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the peanuts, sunflower seeds, dried fruit, oats, whey and crisped rice cereal
  2. In a pan, combine the peanut butter, honey and vanilla. Alternatively, you can microwave these in a microwavable container for 1-2 minutes until bubbling
  3. Add peanut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and stir well
  4. Transfer the mixture to a prepared cooking sheet and press down firmly
  5. Refrigerate or freeze briefly until set
